Hi there,

My name's Iván and I’m an adventurous traveler, I love exploring the world in an authentic way (yes, even by hitchhiking!). I’m looking foward to connecting with cultures, learning from different ways of life, and discovering new places. I'm very interested in learning some farm skills, I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty.

Experience:

I've volunteered at a non-profit shelter in Mexico. We helped families of patients getting treatment at a public hospital (called "Hospital Civil" in Mexico).

My main jobs included:
- Preparing meals for families staying there, I help cooking, doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen.
- Giving emotional support by listening and talking to people.
- Helping with the Urban Garden.
- Receiving and organizing donations made for the shelter.

The goal was to make sure families had a safe and supportive place during very difficult times.

My philosophy is simple: radical respect and kindness: for people, landscapes, animals, and every place I'm in. I’m the type of guy who picks up others’ trash while camping and follows Leave No Trace to the letter (even when no one’s watching).
