I'm a fun person looking to travel and work after an Italian summer camp job is over. I like joking around and exploring. Being outside is something I love, and riding bikes especially. I have a calm and easygoing personality, and enjoy getting to know new people and places. This year I graduated from nursing school and am a registered nurse. I can't wait to start a new project and get to know a new community.

Working at this hostel was a great experience. When the season is busy, changing beds can be a lot of work and you will be tired after a shift, but the hours are really not long (5 hours is over much more quickly than 8 for me) and the staff is great. Getting to explore Zagreb is really fun- there are markets, restaurants, art, and great parks.… read more

Working with Denise and Chris was great. While I was in Goleen on their farm, I helped with cows (mucking out the barn, feeding, bringing in wheels of silage), made a new silage feeder, ran errands, cared for the chickens and dogs, carried a lot of timber, and helped a little around the scrap yard. Hollis is an amazing volunteer. She is cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderful sense of humour. She can work well on her own or in a team, and even smiled through the most smelly of jobs. I really liked my time with Lydia and her family. I personally spent time with her youngest daughter which was really fun, as well as organized parts of the house, did some cleaning, a little cooking, and just tried to be helpful in general. Hollis stayed with us for 2 weeks and she has been SO helpful with the kids, especially, really especially with my daughter (7yrs) who kind of needs a lot of attention and entertainment.
