We’re interested in hiking, climbing, farming, learning about the flora and fauna, learning about culture and languages! We're traveling SEA, looking to explore this culture so different from ours.
Description

Hello! We are two friends from Sweden traveling Southeast Asia! We’re currently in Vietnam, heading to Laos followed by Cambodia! We have been traveling for one month so far, and now we're looking to Workaway to experience a style of traveling that's more settled down and which dives deeper into the culture that we have the immense privilege to visit! We're academically inclined and have a hunger for learning, and we're mainly looking for a workaway that we can pour our hearts into. We have an immense love for music and can play six instruments between us. This has previously given us the opportunity to travel while competing in different music competitions as well, and to connect with people internationally through our shared passion for music!

We have both lived in remote places with everything that this entails and are used to physical work. We have both grown up in abroad in an international environment, and each have our own set of skills that we can bring to the table including having been in the military and a number of years volunteering with the Red Cross in refugee work and outdoor expeditions. We also have professional experience in childcare!

Hedda was a pleasure to host. She was upbeat, helpful, respectful and kind. She was excellent with my small children, we learned to trust her quickly. She was also fit and good at manual labor. Her english is amazingly good and she was easy to communicate with. We wished she could stay longer!

The farm was, for me, like I think it can be for many, a sanctuary of sorts.
