  • Description

Growing up in a historical water mill, I learned a lot of practical skills around the house and garden from a young age. I am still always looking to expand my knowledge and experience in all kinds of crafts like woodworking, renovation and restauration. In my free time I like to paint, sew and bake, especially with sourdough.
I am looking forward to seeing new places, meeting new people and using my energy and skills to create, repair, maintain or assist with whatever is needed.
During my visits in the last few years, I fell in love with the skandinavian nature and culture, especially in Sweden. As sustainability is very important to me, I want to give something back to the people who make this place what it is.

  • More details about your skills

Professionally, I come from a technical background, having just completed my Master‘s in Technomathematics. My logical thinking helps me find efficient and useful solutions even to everyday problems. However, because of my upbringing and my personal interest, I also have some practical skills. I am good at sewing and generally mending and repairing textiles. Basic carpentry skills are also withing my possession, including wood turning and restoring furniture. In my parents‘ garden I learned how to cut grass with a scythe, lay bricks and plant. Ony of my hobbies is to bake with sourdough or yeast, but I am also decent at cooking. I also have a good grasp on how machinery and technology works.
Most importantly, I am not afraid to learn and practice something new!
