I'm looking to get stuck into whatever projects you need help with :)

  • Description

Hi there. Keen workaway-er looking to get stuck into whatever projects you have on at the moment. I love projects and always have my own projects going on. I'm handy and can do hobby/DIY level carpentry, mechanical stuff, metal-work and electrics (12v, 240v, solar). I used to rent a workshop where i'd make stuff, do my own projects and i did try to make a go at making and selling jewellery, but never really liked the online marketing aspect. I've worked as a painter and decorator, farm work, labouring, industrial maintenance, landscaping, but my main profession was as a sound technician in music and corporate events. I have been using hand and power tools since i was a kid. I've been around farms on and off since childhood. I can do gardening. I'm great with tech, so can help with computers and all sorts of other devices too.

I'm available from March 12th to at least April 8th but realistically around the middle of May (before it gets too cold).

I'm 35, from the Isle of Man. I have been living kind of nomadically since early 2023, travelling around the UK and Spain in my old motorhome, and now I'm exploring Australia on my motorbike. I am currently in Melbourne and am looking for workaways in the Victoria area.

I'm easy to get on with and love meeting new people, and having a laugh, I like making silly jokes when I'm more relaxed around people. I love music; I play the drums, make electronic music, and love going to gigs. I have a passion for lovely food, and can cook. Being in nature is my preferred place to be, although cities are great for pizza delivery and catching some interesting bands/artists. I also like learning new things; recently it's geology (Tasmania sparked this interest). In January I got my motorbike learner's permit and at the end of January I set off for Tasmania with my motorbike. Now i'd like to spend a month or 2 in one spot before winter sets in. When not helping you I will be studying computer science, sales and marketing online, and riding my bike around.

My dream is to be able to travel perpetually, funded by investments and remote work/business.
