Hi! My name is Georgia or Geo, I'm from Washington state, USA. I'm 19 right now and I've been in school (for arts and humanities generally) for a couple years now. I'm really passionate about film photography, music, all types of art, cooking, reading, weightlifting, hiking, and so much more. I am also queer and use they/them pronouns, so I'd love to find a host or hosts who are accepting of that.

I'm really hoping to travel and experience the world before I graduate, and I think workaway would be a really awesome opportunity. I've always wanted to travel (the furthest I've been outside of the US is Canada, I'd love to leave the continent), although I can only speak English so I'm hoping to go somewhere that will be somewhat easy to navigate. I would love to learn other languages though!! I'm just really hoping to get out of my bubble and experience other cultures, ways of life, and meet new people.

I have...
- a bit of experience in gardening, I've been helping my family with their gardens the last few summers
-been cooking for 12ish years and have worked in a couple different restaurants, currently learning how to barista
-taught kids (10-15) cooking & eco-crafting (i.e. making salves/balms, tea, infused oils, scrubs, soap, etc. with herbs and natural ingredients) classes
-lots of experience with kids in general as I have 3 younger siblings 7-10 years younger than me, one of which I helped raise quite a bit
-plenty of cleaning experience
-had/taken care pets, namely dogs, cats, and lizards
-been lifting weights consistently for almost 3 years now so I can carry quite a lot
-painted the insides of houses, fixed a few things around the house, put together bed frames, various handy things
-done internships/cohorts about event planning and grant writing, I know a lot about community building and learning how I/organizations can best serve the community, throughout my childhood I helped pack & give lunches to unhoused people at a free dinner held once a week
-been sewing/embroidering since I was young (although all by hand, not machine)

I'm sure there's more but the gist is, I have done a lot and I love to learn new skills and pick them up pretty easily!

I love playing games, I'm super into clue, card games, bananagrams and other word games, I also love some video games such as minecraft, the sims, stardew valley, I've played a lot of roblox with my little siblings.
I love music, I could talk about it for forever. I play guitar & bass guitar, I'm also a big fan of physical media so I collect CDs, vinyls, cassettes, I also love making mixtapes and CDs for people:)
I have type 1 diabetes, not that this really impacts anything but worth the mention.
I love film photography, devloping my own photos, teaching others photography, I'm a big enthusiast:)
