Hi! I'm Freya, a 24 year old from Massachusetts, USA.

In May 2025, I graduated from university with a degree in Environmental Justice. Now I am traveling the world for 8 months learning from new places and people.

I'm personable, curious, athletic, and up for trying new things. I’m very interested in agroecology, social justice and food equity. I have lots of work experience within the hospitality industry as well as childcare experience, gardening/ permaculture, and some English teaching.

I have done a few work exchanges in the past (in Costa Rica and Thailand) where I worked on a farm or at a eco-village and lived communally with the hosts and other volunteers. I love sharing culture, language, and food, as well as playing games and music.

I'm a certified Advanced Open Water scuba diver and love ocean sports and being near the water in general. Growing up on Cape Cod I have been extremely lucky to be surrounded by beautiful coastlines and nature.

I also have my Wilderness First Aid certification.

Freya was a cheerful and friendly person. She helped with everything from cooking to gardening, pool cleaning and Spanish lessons to name just a few. She was out to get the most of her time here and took on every experience with exuberance.
