Description
Hi! I'm Fae – a mixed Filipina-American from New York City currently living between the US and the Philippines. I’m a graduate student in public health with a background in humanitarian work, child welfare, and community-based mental health. I’ve worked with families in crisis, supported refugee communities, and led creative, education-based projects in both the U.S. and Southeast Asia.
Outside of work, I love being around kids, connecting with people from all walks of life, and learning new skills (especially hands-on or cultural ones!). I’m kind, curious, adaptable, and grounded — and I show up with a genuine heart and open mind. I also have a 7-year-old son who’s a sweet, imaginative explorer and often travels with me. We’re a great team!
I’m currently looking for a Workaway experience where I can give back, learn, and grow while taking a break from city life and traditional 9-to-5 work.
