Hi! My name is Erika and I'm a student who loves learning and exploring the world! I look for new experiences and people to challenge me to expand my mindset! I study literature and philosophy which helps me to understand the world around me better.

My home is in Canada but I've travelled a bit through Southeast Asia and Western Europe and South Africa. I would love to explore more of Europe and maybe one day South America. I'm fluent in English and Afrikaans and I'm working on my Spanish and Dutch.

Things I enjoy doing include hiking, reading, playing piano, swimming in lakes and rivers, working outside, or simply walking around new cities to explore. I'm very excited about meeting new people.

I have work experience on farms, yard cleaning, house cleaning, looking after children, teaching English to children, and tutoring.

I have experience looking after children and teaching English to children. I spent a month teaching English at a elementary school summer camp in Uzbekistan in 2025. I can also tutor English and math subjects. I have experience working on farms, including berry picking and sorting, but also cleaning out stables, pressure washing, and gardening work. I also have experience with house cleaning.
