Description
Hello! My name is Emma, and I am from San Diego, California. I have lived here my whole life, and I am in search of a new home outside of the US. I hope to travel around for a couple of months while doing workaways to experience a few different places and see what I like. I am looking for an experience to learn new skills, connect with new people, and immerse myself in different cultures. I am a hard worker and love gardening, homemaking, and working with children and/or animals. I am passionate about regenerative farming, and interested in having my own land and garden someday. I want to learn as much as I can while I work for you! I previously worked as a ceramics tech, so I am comfortable with using power tools and working with my hands. I would love to help in any way I can. You give me a task, I will figure out how to get it done! I am also a creative, so any opportunity to make art, especially ceramics is one I will take.

I I love children and animals, and have worked with them on many different occasions. I am great at cleaning and love transforming a space and making it cozy! I also enjoy cooking, and experimenting with different recipes and ingredients. I am new to the world of DIY and woodworking, but eager to learn! I have experience from a previous workaway of building a deck and some garden beds out of recycled wood. I also have gardening experience.

I enjoy drawing and journaling, as well as pottery! I also love being active and would love to get some hiking or climbing in during my travels. I am a pretty calm, grounded person who enjoys a slower life, though I can handle chaotic schedules sometimes as well. I love connection over a cup of tea and deep conversation, and I look forward to getting to know my hosts!
