Description
With a strong passion for a fulfilling life, nature… and everything in between, we’re a couple who love diving into new experiences headfirst (sometimes literally — especially if there’s a lake, ocean, or muddy field involved).
We find that putting ourselves into the day to day life of those in a place different to our own, meeting local people, eating local foods, and learning the local “way of doing things” (which usually turns out to be much better than our way!) — is the best way to travel and truly experience a country for how it really is.
This is where our, sometimes hardest, but fondest memories are made.
We’re friendly, reliable, and don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’ll work hard, laugh lots, and Stephanie will probably get too attached to your pets :)

More details about your skills
Between the two of us, we’ve racked up a pretty handy mix of skills — from kitchens to gardens, kids to power tools — and we’re always super keen to learn more!
We both have solid kitchen experience, a good work ethic, and we communicate well (3 months travelling the states in our van and I kid you not - we don't argue). We’re quick to adapt to new surroundings, whether that’s a busy kitchen, a peaceful garden, or somewhere in between.
Stephanie spent 3 months in Kenya working with Green Life Africa, teaching children about sustainability, reusing, and recycling — basically turning everyday trash into creative magic. When she wasn’t saving the planet one bottle cap at a time, she was babysitting and learning that kids have more energy than most solar panels.
Emile has a background in garden maintenance, has worked in a skate shop, and isn’t afraid of a good DIY project. In fact, he built the entire interior of his van from scratch (proof’s in the photo album!). Safe to say, he’s handy with tools, creative with space, and can fix most things… or at least make them look cool while trying.
Together, we make a great team — organized and practical, with a healthy dose of humour and curiosity. We’re not afraid of hard work, and we genuinely enjoy being part of something meaningful — whether that’s planting vegetables, cooking for a crowd, or helping build the next great project.
