Hello! My name is Eleanor and I'm a 22 year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies with a minor in Spanish. I am a social person who enjoys going for long walks, making new friends, laying in the sun, exercise and sharing culture. While traveling I hope to improve my Spanish, experience life in a variety of environments, and study how infrastructure affects daily life across various European towns and cities. I'm the youngest of 3 siblings, my mom is a teacher and I spent my summers as a kid helping my dad maintain and renovate several historic buildings in Minneapolis. I have skills in GIS, writing, hospitality, and design. If you need manual labor- I'm handy, a hard worker, and I'm strong. I've lived with roommates the last 4 years, so I know how to clean up, contribute to the house and be conscious of others' space and things.

I have a bachelor's of science in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota, earned in 3.5 years from 2022-2025. Throughout school and since graduation, I have been working as a server. My professional experience includes: 5 years at a busy restaurant, two summers spent as a crew on a yacht charter, and 6 months as a research assistant for a GIS mapping project at the University of Minnesota. More casual work experiences include: babysitting/childcare, renovations and maintenance of historic properties, gardening/landscaping, pet-sitting and house-sitting. I'm strong, able-bodied and follow directions well. I have a variety of skills and am willing to be flexible about the type of work needed to find a host with the right spot for me.
