Hello! My name is Erica.
I am from a small town outside of Buffalo, NY. I have been living in Asheville, North Carolina for the past few years. I love the outdoors. Camping and hiking is a big part of my lifestyle. I also love to cook and always enjoy making meals with others so we can learn from each other. I find it very important to be active. it's kind of my therapy. I always prioritize some sort of workout, yoga, or hiking daily. I love to travel. I've done many cross country road trips in my wonderful Dodge van, named Doug.

Starting in spring 2025, I am taking a year off from th rat race to travel. I am really looking forward this time to learn, hike beautiful places, and meet good people.

I am interested in volunteering in beautiful places for a period of time to really get to be a part of community and nature. I am looking to expand myself by learning from people and places.

I am currently looking to gain knowledge in self sustained living, permaculture, farming, gardening, etc.

Also, very interested in worktrading at hostels.

If traveling in the United States, I have a campervan that is fully equipped. Electric hookups are nice but not necessary.

I am a career bartender. I always joke that bartending has taught me more than college did. I have been a bartender for 12 years. I love it.

Currently, I am also a hiking/jeep tour guide in North Carolina in the Pisgah National Forest.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies. I was an executive assistant at nonprofit animal shelter for 4 years.

Duties included: weeding, cultivating, harvesting, transplanting, nursery, setting up/selling at farmer markets, and preparing produce for markets and health food stores.
