Description

Hi! My name is Dotan, I'm a cook from Israel and I also really love traveling, learning new cultures, food, languages and being open to things. I think you can learn from everyone and this is the time to put it into practice. I worked hard for the last year and saved up to take time and actually experience the world — not just pass through it. I want to learn where food really comes from, get my hands dirty on a farm, understand how things grow and how animals are cared for. I'm also learning to surf and I'm drawn to a simpler, more connected way of living. I have no fixed end date and nowhere I have to be — I'm just looking for real experiences and real people to share them with.

I've been working in professional kitchens for several years and cooking is something I genuinely love — I can contribute a lot when it comes to food, whether that's preparing meals, preserving, or learning new techniques. Outside the kitchen I built my own seasonal vegetable garden from scratch over the last three years — the beds, the irrigation system, plant selection based on sun and water needs — so I'm comfortable with physical outdoor work and learning by doing. I'm healthy, hardworking, and I connect with people easily. I always try to show up with a good attitude and make myself useful wherever I can.
