I'm currently living at home in Ireland having taken a career break from my role in Healthcare Administration. Doing a lot of work around my own house and garden and enjoying the outdoors.

Description

I recently took a career break and enjoying a change of direction for the next while. My wife has also taken a career break and my daughter has just started university in Dublin.

I've always loved travel, especially meeting new people and I think working abroad and living with local people is a fantastic experience. While holidays are great, I like to experience more of a country during a longer workaway stay. I recently returned from a road trip around Spain, which included a fantastic 3 week workaway in Valencia. Would like to travel to the Mediterranean again during Spring or Autumn for a new experience and of course the mild weather. I'd also be interested in Northern Europe during the Summer.

I love the outdoors, especially cycling, mountain biking, kayaking and walking so working outside would be ideal. I am fit and healthy.

I've been told I have a great rapport with people and I love talking to new people when travelling. I can set my mind to any task and I'm a hard worker. Once I start something I like to finish it.

I have been involved in various environmental organisations over the years including ECO-UNESCO, Toledo Metroparks and BirdWatch Ireland.

This work included practical environmental projects, such as planting trees and improving wildlife habitats.
