My next destination:
Nepal - from Oct 2025 until Nov 2025 View allDescription
From autumn 2025 I will embark on a journey of exploration of self and the world which I've dreamt about for long. Due to some coincidences I'll first discover India while volunteering at a sustainable agriculture center in the south of the country, after which I'll participate in a yoga teacher training in Nepal. Thus I am currently looking for volunteering experiences in this region - India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, etc - happy to contribute to the local nature and community in any way I can.
I am an adventurer and a nature lover, I appreciate deep relationships and conversations. I am interested in Buddhism, sustainability and biology in general, especially in flora and herbal medicine. I love photography and cinema, I've practiced analog photography for years and also created some short movies, so helping out with photography/videography would be a great joy. I also love working with children as I believe raising a generation more intelligent and conscious than us is one of the greatest ways for creating a better world. I've grown up in the countryside, thus I do not fear getting my hands dirty with any work needed to be done. I'm athletic and I love movement in any form, be it running, hiking, or surfing (of which I am a beginner, but dream about catching waves elegantly one day...).Interests

More details about your skills
From the professional side, I have studied computer science and psychology in university and have worked in the IT industry for 3 years as an IT analyst.
I speak Estonian and English fluently and I also know a bit of French.
I have always been interested in biology and geography, thus I know a lot about local ecosystems (Northern Europe) and medicinal plants, can survive in nature, plan and conduct hikes, etc. I do not fear being out in rural places and get my hands dirty.
I have spent all my summers in Estonian countryside, helping to manage a 30 hectare old farmhouse, being involved in garden works, forest works, and helping to maintain old country houses.
I have practiced photography and videography for years and am really passionate about it, I take it as my main creative outlet and an art.
I have managed a social media account of a student society, helping it to gain hundreds of followers via giveaways and marketing.
I have practiced athletics, calisthenics, bouldering, and yoga for years, thus I could help in many different ways to get the community moving.
I also know quite a bit about art history, thus can definitely educate the community about that.
I have had cats my whole life and cared for dogs for months, also have experience with horses, thus helping with animals is definitely not a problem.Age

The work is meditative and meaningful. The village is calm, has epic views of Pokhara and the Annapurna range, and feels like a big community. If you like children, you can spend time with them, play, walk… read more
