Travelling

Description
At the moment we are full-time travelers, cycling around the world with all belongings strapped to our bikes. Renata started her journey in Spain, in Tarifa, in an effort to connect the southernmost point of Europe with the northernmost - Nordkinn. Mateusz started in Poland cycling around Europe and through North Africa, headed towards the Middle East. We met on the road in Spain and ever since we have been cycling together, headed north. After finishing our first trip together, we got married and now we are on a new journey: Portugal - New Zealand by bicycle.
Renata: I consider myself extroverted, empathic and with a good sense of humor. I am practical and creative, I love fixing things and learning new skills.
Very interested in improving my habits, my knowledge of myself and humanity. That’s why I start cycling around.
I love to cook, do Yoga, Hike, Bike, Talk, watch nice movies and series… listen and play music (bass guitar)… and be involved in nice projects with environmental, animal, political or social impact.
Dreaming about learning to sail.
Mateusz:
I'm a naval engineer turned traveller, having changed a comfortable desk job for a life of adventure. With my engineering background I'm good with all things mechanical, construction and problem solving, whatever the problems may be. I enjoy travelling to remote corners of the world, getting to know different cultures and meeting new people from all walks of life. I started travelling a few years ago in an effort to see as much of the world as possible and to connect my passion for cycling and building/fixing bikes with the drive to see as much of the world as possible.

More details about your skills
Renata: I’ve been working as a software developer and my background is Psychology.
I’ve had a lot of different things. I used to have summer jobs while I was young, from harvesting apples, pears, and cultivating broccoli to selling ice cream and orange juice at the beach.
In past years I had digital jobs, developing an app, being a consultant and personal assistant, but my heart is more fulfilled with being outside and in contact with the nature.
Quite good at organizing and cleaning things!
I’m very active and energetic, so count on me!
Past year I had some Workaway experiences while I was working as a digital nomad. I mainly joined families in their daily duties, housekeeping and helped in a animal sanctuary, with pigs and chickens.
Mateusz: It's my first time as a Workawayer and I would love to get my hands dirty and help with building, construction, DIY and use my engineering experience for a greater good. I would also love to get involved with maritime projects, be it sailing or fixing and working on a boat. I'm also very passionate about food and cooking, even though I do not have any official experience, I love to cook and learn about food from different cultures.
