Hello! My name is Ava and I am from Colorado in the United States but attend Emory University in Georgia, USA where I study psychology and nursing. I grew up doing ballet and it is one of the joys of my life. Outside of dance and school, I absolutely love spending time outside in all forms of nature, rain or sun! I am someone who enjoys eating and living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. I am increasingly interested in holistic practices, including meditation and mindfulness. I am a hard worker who loves traveling and meeting new people. I look forward to opportunities for cultural exchange and collaborative experiences!

Through previous homestay experiences in Italy, I have picked up skills in gardening, land management, cooking, cleaning, and caring for animals. I also love and have extensive experience in caring for children of a wide variety of ages and needs. I also have experience in mentoring and believe I would be a confident teacher of the English language. I would love to be a part of a cultural and language exchange!
