    About us
    Welcome to my eco project! I’m creating a small eco project near Letojanni, Sicily. It’s a peaceful rural place close to the sea, surrounded by nature. The idea is to host travellers who want to share simple life, nature, good food, and meaningful tasks. We build and improve small structures, take care of the land, and create a welcoming space for people and animals.
    We are a small rural hospitality project located near Letojanni, just a few minutes from Taormina, Sicily. Our place is surrounded by olive trees, sea breeze, and a spirit of community.

    This is not a commercial campsite, but a natural space where travelers can stay with their tent, camper, or van, and contribute through small tasks, creative projects, or simply by sharing good energy and stories.

    The project was born from the dream of creating a simple, sustainable lifestyle — one that connects people with nature, craftsmanship, and authentic Sicilian hospitality.

    We’re currently working on improving the land, building small wooden and metal structures, planting trees, and making the place more welcoming.

    What we offer
    You’ll have a quiet space close to the sea, surrounded by nature. We share meals, work together on light projects, and enjoy sunsets overlooking the Ionian coast.

    In the past, this project was shared with another person and had a different setup.
    Now I’m starting again from zero, on my own, with a simpler and more authentic vision.

    My project is not a business or commercial activity.
    I live on a piece of agricultural land in Sicily, where I’m creating a small eco-project focused on sharing, sustainability and cultural exchange.
    It’s completely non-profit — I don’t rent spaces and I don’t receive any payments from guests or tourists.
    Workawayers are welcomed as part of a shared lifestyle experience: together we take care of small maintenance tasks, land care and creative projects to improve the natural space.
    I offer accommodation and meals in exchange for collaboration and human connection.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Here you’ll experience the real soul of Sicily — simple life, deep connections, and the rhythm of nature.
    You can learn about local traditions, homemade food, olive trees, and the way people here mix work, laughter, and long conversations under the stars.

    I love sharing stories, showing how we build and create with what we have, and exchanging skills and ideas.
    Sometimes we cook together, sometimes we fix things, sometimes we just sit, listen to the sea, and talk about life.

    It’s a place where everyone brings something — a song, a story, a recipe, or a new way of seeing the world.
    If you come with an open heart, you’ll leave with new friends, new skills, and a bit of Sicilian warmth in your soul.

  • Help

    Help

    The activities here are not “work”, but shared tasks.
    I live on the land, so everything is done together with me, never alone.
    The main goal is to keep the natural space clean and cared for, while learning and sharing experiences.

    Typical tasks include:
    • keeping the land and common areas clean;
    • pruning the olive trees (in season) and caring for plants;
    • taking care of the vegetable garden and growing fresh vegetables;
    • feeding the animals (sheep, dogs, cats — the sheep will arrive in about twenty days);
    • small repairs or light maintenance tasks;
    • helping with cooking, if they wish;
    • language exchange: they can teach me some English, and I teach them Italian.

    Everything is done in a simple, respectful, and collaborative way.
    It’s not a business, but a private eco-project based on nature, sharing, and cultural exchange.
    The atmosphere here is calm, friendly, and close to nature. 🌿

    This host offers a language exchange
    I speak Italian and German fluently, and I also understand Spanish and Dutch quite well. I’m currently learning English and would love to practice it with travelers and volunteers. If you’d like to improve your Italian or German, we can exchange languages together — I can help you, and you can help me.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

    Here volunteers usually stay in a cozy caravan with three beds.
    You’ll have your own privacy, and the space is comfortable and quiet.
    If there are more volunteers than can fit in the caravan, we arrange alternative accommodations with tents or sometimes another caravan.

    Life here is simple but full of beauty: cooking together, eating under the trees, watching the stars at night, and waking up with the sound of birds and the sea.
    We live slowly, respectfully, and in connection with the land.

    We cook and eat together. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided every day — also during your free days. The food is simple, homemade, and mostly local.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    It is more than a project — it’s a small community where you can live close to nature, work with your hands, and share simple joys.
    Volunteers help with gardening, small improvement projects, light painting, or general maintenance tasks. You don’t need special skills, just curiosity, willingness to help, and a positive attitude.

    We value simplicity, respect, and cooperation. Life here is quiet but meaningful: we cook together, share meals, talk, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of the land and the sea.
    If you want, you can also practice languages — I speak Italian and German fluently, and I’m learning English.

    This place is perfect for travellers who love nature, freedom, and hands-on experiences, and who want to be part of a small, caring community.
