Hello, my name is Anna. I am an English university student from Switzerland. I am looking for an opportunity to experience local culture and the English language in Ireland as part of my studies.

I am a very curious and open-minded person who loves any opportunity to learn about people, culture, languages and lots more! This will be my first work exchange, but I have work experience in commercial cleaning, babysitting, farm work and private tutoring. I work well independently or in a team and know how to get a job done properly and in a timely manner. I am open to doing housework, cooking, cleaning, tidying up, working in the garden, basic maintenance, running errands or simply offering an extra pair of hands. Additionally, I enjoy working with children. I am patient with children and love to find creative ways to play, explore the world, and help them learn new things. I am happy to discuss any further tasks or questions.

Overall, I have enjoyed many trips abroad where I enjoy visiting their corresponding cultural and historic places (e.g. cities, museums, libraries), taking walks or bike rides in nature, using public transport to visit nearby cities, indulge in the local cuisine.

In my free time I greatly enjoy reading, learning new skills (e.g. knitting, sewing, coding), improving my language skills (e.g. Spanish, Serbian), cooking food for me and others, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, getting some movement outside (e.g. walking, running, biking) and connecting with friends over a cup of tea. What i would like to get more into or even start from scratch is for example swimming, gardening, drawing and writing poetry.

- proficient in multiple languages (German, Italian, Portuguese, English, French), understand Spanish but limited vocabulary
- skilled in basic work like cleaning, cooking, washing, gardening, etc.
- do not own a drivers license but am comfortable with getting around using any other mode of transport (e.g. walking, biking, public transport)
- experienced in working with children with dyslexia and on the autism spectrum
- work independently, get things done in time and well done
- have learned playing the guitar for many years (although my skills are a bit rusty now)
- have had pets myself (bunnies) therefore, know how to be responsible for an animal and include their care in my daily routine
- know how to fly a kite, which is a super fun activity to do on a windy day
