More details about your skills
We both possess strong animal care skills, frequently providing pet-sitting services for families during their absences. We have experience caring for children, including our nephews regularly and past babysitting experiences, We also assist with the maintnance of several cabins in Northern Maine our family owns, which includes help with painting, cleaning, yard work, gardening, stacking firewood, raking the beach, closing the cabins and securing them for the winter, and general improvements and upkeep.
Anna- I’m entering my senior year in Electrical Engineering and have gained hands-on experience through my studies and an internship. I have been at my current internship for a year and am planning to continue with them until my graduation in May. In my internship, I support projects that improve animal health at a world-leading veterinary diagnostics and technology company. I have also contributed to student-research projects, having coauthored a paper that was selected for a Best Paper award at an international engineering conference. I’m comfortable troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and learning new systems quickly. I work well in teams, adapt easily, and enjoy practical, hands-on projects where I can problem-solve and pick up new skills.
Emma- I currently work at a retirement home as a dietary aide and in activities and recreation, I've been there for four years. This has given me experience preparing and cleaning in the kitchen, as well as supporting and engaging with residents, including those with dementia. I’m patient, adaptable, and enjoy creating a positive environment for others, whether that’s through daily tasks, helping with activities, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

What else ...
We both enjoy travelling and have had the opportunity to travel a lot. Combined we have visited many places in the United States, as well as abroad travel to countries such as Greece, Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Mexico, and Canada, with plans to go to Costa Rica this November. Together, we enjoy playing tennis and pickleball, watching hockey, going for walks, doing arts and crafts with our nephews, experiencing live music, and watching and discussing TV and movies. We like to cook and bake as well and are excited to try and learn other cultural dishes. We like to read and play video games a bit as well. We are both huge animal lovers, having grown up with family dogs, cats, and guinea pigs.
