  • Description

What truly motivates and brings me happiness is spending time in nature and feeling connected to the environment around me. I find great joy in sharing experiences and daily moments with others: it gives me a sense of belonging and purpose. I feel most fulfilled when I can be useful and contribute in a meaningful way, especially through hands-on, practical activities. Whether it’s building something outdoors, working with natural materials, or simply being part of a team project in nature, these moments give me energy and a deep sense of satisfaction

Being part of the Scout movement has deeply shaped who I am, over the past 15 years. For the last 4 years, I’ve taken on the role of a Scout leader, working closely with teenagers to guide them through experiences that foster independence, teamwork, and respect for nature and each others. Through camping, hiking, and outdoor living, I’ve developed strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to challenges and support others in doing the same.
This lifestyle has taught me the value of community, resilience, and living simply but meaningfully: values I carry with me in everything I do.
A significant experience that deeply enriched my personal growth was spending one year abroad in a small rural village in South Africa. I lived with a large local family in the countryside and attended a local high school, fully immersing myself in a very different and sometimes challenging cultural environment. This experience taught me to be adaptable, open-minded, and patient. It helped me appreciate diversity, understand different ways of life, and build genuine connections beyond language and cultural barriers. It strengthened my ability to live simply, respect others, and find common ground even in unfamiliar situations.
