Description

As the daughter of a pilot, I have always loved travelling. I love cooking and eating, especially when I can try new things. I play soccer, cycle, run, hike, swim, anything I can do outside I love! I read a lot and try to journal.

I have done one Workaway before and had the most fantastic time. It was great to be able to immerse myself in a place and form deeper relationships there. While I love bouncing from place to place, at this point I have learned the value in slowing down and taking the time to learn about where I am.

I am a native English speaker with experience teaching children and young adults. I love reading and writing, and would be happy to teach English.I have a working knowledge of French (Canadian French), but have a long way to go. I have a wide variety of skills. I worked at a plant nursery for two summers, and while I kill all my houseplants I love being outside in the garden and know a lot about Canadian plants. I would love to learn more about gardening elsewhere in the world!

I love to cook and bake, and would be happy to bring that passion and skill to my Workaway.

I am a native English speaker and an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing. I can help with any external communications or marketing.

I am great at problem solving and fixing. Though I don't have any specific handyman skills, I am tenacious and not afraid to get my hands dirty. You can rely on me to figure things out!

I have taken care of children and pets my whole life. I am very familiar with cats and dogs, and love all animals. I have experience teaching and caring for children from toddler-age and above
