Description

Hi there!! I'm Cauê, I'm 23yo, half Brazilian and half Swiss, I love to travel and now I'm on a journey exploring the world by myself. I used to work as a freelancer video editor, but I've left that behind and stopped working from my computer. I want to focus on this experience, get to know amazing new people, live like the locals, learn new languages and have heart-warming exchanges along the way. And in the end, also learn more about myself throughout the whole process.

My biggest passion in the world is music, I love talking about it, listening to all kinds of music and also playing instruments. I'm also learning to sing now and I'm very enthusiastic about this process. I'm into all kinds of sports, outdoors activities, nature, animals and learning new things. I used to live in the gigantic city of São Paulo and I my goal is to get away from that as much as I can, live a simple, quiet and free life, closer to nature and more connected to myself.

So far, the experiences I've had volunteering include: working one month as a hostel receptionist in Cappadocia, housecleaning/ maintenance, painting, working in a kitchen, farm work and animal care.

More details about my language interests
I absolutely love learning new languages and any exchange in that sense would be very enriching for me. I now would like to learn Swiss German, get better at Spanish and French and to perfect my German. Learning a little bit of any other language would be awesome too. I'm very enthusiastic about the Japanese language! Also I would be more than happy to teach anything I know of the languages I speak :)

My expertises are certainly in communication, video editing and social media. I know how to get along well with people in general but also with kids and I've had animals all my life, so I have good experience dealing with them. I can do some housecleaning and maintenance, gardening and DIY projects. I love to learn new things and would be very much willing to learn anything new to help you. I enjoy cooking too.

In my free time I like to play instruments, read, watch movies and hang out with friends, specially to chat and have a good laugh. I also love swimming, biking, hiking, skateboarding, working out and doing yoga. Though I'm very sociable, I'm not a big party person, even though I love to dance and I don't drink or smoke.
