  • Description

Hi, I’m Angie! I’m 25, and being the oldest daughter in my family has made me naturally organized, resourceful, and quick to adapt. I currently work as an Art Director, you can also see my work at angelyntan.com. I'm a little jaded from corporate life and I've been planning to take a 180 turn as I find that i'm more of myself in nature settings/working with people from various backgrounds. Apart from work, I'm trying to finish my A2 French and I actively volunteer at a horse stable. I love my time at the stable as I get to work with animals and children and it's great to be soaked in nature as well.

People often describe me as thoughtful, curious, and easy to work with and talk to. I genuinely love learning about the world and picking up new skills, and I bring that same mindset to any project or environment I’m in.

As a creative person, exploring new places helps me grow, connect with others, and understand different ways of life. Travel has always been a meaningful part of how I learn and experience the world. One of my goals is to explore the EU and USA as I have not had the chance to do so yet!

One of my favourite books is Just Kids by Patti Smith, which has shaped how I see art, culture, and human connection. Like her, I hope to meet people from all walks of life and let those experiences expand how I see the world and myself.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me reading, spending time outdoors, pilates/yoga, or winding down with a game of sudoku. I love staying active, learning, and being close to nature :)

I’m a hands-on and reliable person with experience across childcare, hospitality, animal care, and creative work. I’ve previously babysat for families and currently volunteer at a horse stable, where I work closely with children and care for horses and ponies: from feeding, grooming, and cleaning stables to preparing reins and saddle pads for casual riding. I also have a strong hospitality background, having worked two years as a waitress at Moonstone Bar, where I handled customer relations, reservations, front-facing service, and cleaning according to hygiene procedures.

Adding on, I’ve worked independently as kitchen staff at a Mexican restaurant, managing food prep during solo shifts and holding a food and hygiene certification. Alongside this, I work professionally in art direction and can support with social media, content creation, and visual storytelling when needed.

  • What else ...

Outside of work, I’m pretty low-key and enjoy slower, simple routines. I’m a big sudoku person (I’ve somehow finished about three books this year), and I’ve been learning French for about a year now currently at A2 and always happy to practise. I read a lot, especially memoirs, and I’m usually drawn to anything connected to nature, film, art, music, or literature. I also collect postcards when I travel and keep them organised, it’s a small habit I love and a fun little show and tell if anyone’s curious. I really enjoy sharing recommendations, chatting about creative things, or just spending time quietly doing our own thing.
