Description
We are an Australian couple with two children, a 4 year old girl and a 1.5 year old boy. Amy works for the government in social policy and is currently completing her Masters degree. Jarrod works in research and is completing a PHD. We traveled a lot before we had kids and have lived in Japan, Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK. We lived in Tokyo for a year in 2018 teaching English and travelling around and had such a great time we want to keep coming back to Japan. We are excited to try something new and expose our kids to a different way of life. We are both social and open minded people and like having meaningful conversations and getting to know people.

Housing maintenance and renovation: We have renovated and sold a previous house and made some changes to our current house. We can help with things like painting, some construction, and various maintenance tasks.
We can help with tasks around the home and outdoors: all general home tasks like cleaning, tidying as well as basic DIY. We have a big vegetable garden at home so have learned the basics of gardening and fruit and vegetables growing through maintaining ours.
English conversation and teaching: We worked at a number of English language schools in Tokyo teaching all age groups from babies to preschoolers, school age and adults.
Child care: with two young children of our own, we have experience with looking after children. With our own kids we try to take a 'kind with boundaries' approach to parenting. -
