  • Description

    Hi! I'm Amelia 🌞

I’m currently travelling through Asia and looking to make meaningful connections and take part in projects that give back. I’m passionate about growth—both personal and collective—and I’m always eager to learn, help out, and be part of something bigger than myself.

I feel happiest when I’m surrounded by nature, meeting open-minded people, and doing meaningful work. I love the feeling of being part of a little community—even just for a short time—and learning from other people’s stories, skills, and cultures.

Being a part of collective projects gives me a sense of purpose and freedom at the same time, which is my dream combo. I enjoy working with my hands, being creative, and helping out wherever I’m needed.

Over the past few years, I’ve travelled and worked across different roles in hospitality, public service, and community support (NDIS and aged care). I’m a hands-on, adaptable person who enjoys creative tasks, being outdoors, and pitching in wherever needed. Whether it’s helping in the garden, supporting people, learning something new, or just making someone smile, I’m here for it.

I’d love to share my experiences, energy, and skills with others—and keep learning as I go!

More details about my language interests
I’m really fascinated by languages—the way they work, how they shape culture, and how they connect people. I enjoy learning new words and phrases wherever I travel, and I love hearing how different people express themselves. Language is more than just communication to me; it’s a way to understand and appreciate different cultures on a deeper level. I am more than happy to assist in English teaching if available.

  • More details about your skills

I used to work in support work, so I’m really comfortable helping people and tuning in to what others need. It taught me a lot about patience, care, and showing up with a good attitude. I’ve travelled all over Southeast Asia and Australia and have a real passion for travelling, meeting new people, and learning from different ways of life. I love sharing what I know, but I also really value learning from others and building meaningful connections along the way.

I’m really into photography—especially of people and nature—and I’m happiest when I’m outdoors: hiking, swimming, exploring the jungle, anything in nature really. I enjoy being in the garden, and I’m great with animals—I’ve had lots of pets back home and absolutely adore them. I’m easy-going, reliable, and always up for helping out, whether it’s something creative, physical, or just being part of a good energy.

  • What else ...

I’ve worked in support roles with both people with disabilities and the elderly, which taught me so much about patience, empathy, and how to care for others with respect and dignity. That kind of work really sharpened my communication skills and helped me become more adaptable, calm under pressure, and tuned in to people’s needs—especially the unspoken ones. Travelling has built on that in a big way, teaching me how to connect across language and cultural differences, stay open-minded, and problem-solve on the go. Both experiences have shaped me into someone who’s capable, grounded, and always ready to help where I can.
