Hola!
I am Alyssa and I'm traveling !

I am newly graduated from University with a degree in Environmental Horticulture and have been working with a farm to table restaurant and yoga since then . I'm sending off on another great journey to continue learning outside of the classroom in South America.

I hope to learn about alternative lifestyles, self sustainability, and food production systems of the regions: while also learning new skills, practicing Spanish, and making friends along the way! I hope to make/be part of a community sustained homestead in the future.

I am a very inspired worker when the work benefits a greater good. I always have a positive attitude and try to lift others up even on the rainiest of days.

Learning about plant and human relationships has always been one of my biggest passions. While studying I have sustained a job working on a small organic vegetable farm in Maine. Besides working on a farm and studying agriculture, I grew up spending most of the summer days working in my family's large garden. I am able to cook vegetarian meals with harvested food and preserve much of it for winter.

I look forward to learning and growing from one another :)
