Hi, I'm an American student living in France and looking for opportunities to escape my routine, meet new people and work with the earth. I love animals and gardening and have spent many years as a nanny and au-pair. I enjoy helping others and am happy to take on whatever tasks are necessary, whether that be cleaning, painting, gardening, shopping, cooking, helping with renovation projects or more.

While working as a live-in nanny, my host family allowed me to work on their garden and neglected outdoor spaces as a solo project. I cleared areas of debris and leaves that were hazardous in the case of wildfire, I weeded, laid out decorative stones and gravel and planted new drought-resistant plants. I also grew herbs from seed and maintained strawberry plants and various flowers in small, raised garden beds.

My experience with household renovation projects is limited but I am very capable and willing to learn new skills.

I've spent many years working with children and am currently studying education. I have a C1 level certification in French and am happy to converse in French or English to practice conversation skills. I also write songs and play guitar and ukulele and love writing/singing songs with kids.

Lorsque je travaillais comme nounou à domicile, ma famille d'accueille m'ont permis de transformer leur jardin négligé. J'ai enlevé les débris et les feuilles qui étaient dangereux en cas d'incendie, j'ai désherbé, j'ai posé des pierres décoratives et du gravier et j'ai planté de nouvelles plantes résistantes à la sécheresse. J'ai également fait pousser des herbes aromatiques à partir de graines et j'ai entretenu des fraisiers et diverses fleurs dans de petites plates-bandes surélevées.

Mon expérience des projets de rénovation est limitée, mais je suis tout à fait capable et je souhaite acquérir de nouvelles compétences.

J'ai passé de nombreuses années à travailler avec des enfants et j'étudie actuellement l'éducation. J'ai un certificat C1 en français et serai ravie de parler en anglais ou français selon vous. J'écris également des chansons, je joue de la guitare et du ukulélé et j'aime écrire et chanter des chansons avec les enfants.

Some personal and professional interests of mine include healthy and sustainable eating, humanitarianism and improving public education. I love playing music with others and discovering new artists. Sailing is an interest I'd like to learn more about eventually!
