I'm Alice, 26, from Italy🖐🏽
After years working in an office job, I am looking for adventures that fuel my spirit and make me feel truly alive. I am eager to meet new people, learn new skills and devote my time and energy to make your projects thrive!

I took part in a long-term volunteering project in Portugal supporting a local NGO, where I took care of a native plant nursery, organized educational activities for children and adults, collected seeds and did field research on invasive or useful plants.
I also participated in many workcamps and courses around Europe (mostly focused on ecological consciousness, community life and self-awareness) and had a couple woofing experiences in Sweden. Here I helped with the daily tasks, including caring for the sheep, goats, chickens and horses, but I also built a greenhouse, a fenced cage for ducks and I assisted in preparing the field for planting various vegetables.

I am very adaptable and love to travel and immerse myself in different cultures.
I am passionate about all things sustainability and nature, from gardening, to camping to mushroom hunting. I have studied forest sciences and also worked as a sustainability consultant.

💪 Nature and outdoors: gardening, maintaining a plant nursery taking part in eco-projects. I enjoy getting my hands dirty and making something grow!
💪 Cooking: Cooking for others is one of my love languages. I love experimenting with new recipes and tastes and find joy in the process of bread baking.
💪 Sports and physical activities: I don't shy away from physical tasks and enjoy getting my body tired.
💪 Cultural exchange: I love discussing and learning about cultures, religions, habits, and sharing my own too.
💪 Technical: I have gathered a lot of experience with softwares such as Excel, Powerpoint, SPSS, R and Stata for data analysis. I use them daily in my job and could help in your project if needed.

I studied and lived in several countries over the years, including Germany, Portugal, Denmark and the Netherlands. I spent almost three years in Denmark studying forestry and nature management, while also working part time as a barista. I also built extensive work experience in sustainability consulting, hospitality, bars and at music festivals.
I am active in several associations that focus on food waste, environmental awereness and active citizenship.

A bit about my personality: I am passionate about what I believe in, am tidy and organized, value my independence and respect the personal space of others.
I am a quite idealistic person and have the dream of creating a small community of friends and family, surrounded by nature and practicing regenerative agriculture.
I love to gather ideas and inspiration from the places I visit around the world to make this dream a little more possible every time.
