Hey I’m Alex Miles, from the U.S.
I am an experienced sailor on traditionally rigged boats, and have some skills in carpentry and custom leather work. I've got my sea legs and I know my knots, but plan on following my feet all over. I can keep my wits about me in heavy seas and howling winds, through the dead of night, even if I've hardly slept in days. Getting my hands dirty is a favorite pastime. I've worked construction, so I'm pretty handy. I'm no master mechanic, but I can turn a wrench. I'm no master chef, but I can make food that won't kill you. I'm an experienced hitch hiker and camp spot finder, so I am used to getting accustomed to new environments, and that’s why I’m here: to learn about different places and lifestyles.
