    Description

    Hey there!
This is Dal (or Dali) and have recently settled in San Jose, CR, as this is an amazing city in terms of diversity and inclusion 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
I recently moved to a flat in downtown SJ with the intention of building a safe space to host people in the LGBTQ+ community who want to come to Costa Rica and need to spend some time in the city before they head out to adventure in the rainforest and beaches ✨
Don't miss out on visiting San Jose! It has a lot to offer, including safety and ease of living. I am sure you'll love it too!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

My journey through cultural dynamics started back in 2010 when I did my first backpacking trip to South America and started my Couchsurfing account. I am looking to have here in workaway a similar experience!
My apartment is a window to the life of the queer millennial josefinx - I'd be happy to connect you with events for the community.

  • Help

    Help

Housework: From standard low intensity tasks such as cleaning (doing dishes, sweeping the floor) to perhaps a little more complex tasks such as painting, hanging art, putting the recycling away, emptying the comunal trash can, repotting plants, cleaning windows, bathroom, etc.

I am happy to accommodate to whatever makes you comfortable! I prefer to know what you're good at and need little to no supervision doing.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

    ~Mi barrio;
I live east of downtown San Jose. This is a very lively side of town day and night. There is traffic and nightlife noise everyday, all day.

    ~The apartment:
I am on the 4th floor of a five stories building, and there is no elevator!
My apartment is an *open* concept duplex. That means two floors, no doors. The living room and kitchen are on one floor, and my bedroom and bathroom on another.
I have a big balcony with an amazing view of downtown SJ and beautiful sunsets 🧡

    ~The guest sleeping area:
You will sleep in the living room in the most comfiest twin size sofa to ever exist (I promise!).
My work desk is also in the living room, so sometimes I'll have to wake you up around 9:00 am to start my work day.

    ~Bathroom:
    We'll share a bathroom.

    ~Parking:
I have a (very small) parking spot available for a sedan or a 4x2. Or paid street parking from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, which is about $20 a day. Otherwise you can park about three streets down the road for free.
