Hola👋🏻! I’m Alberto, a friendly, open-minded traveler with a warm Latin soul. Over the last 7 years I've been backpacking and volunteering across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

I now live a simpler, conscious lifestyle focused on real human connection, nature, and less materialism. After shifting away from a high-pressure career and with more stability now, I'm living spontaneous experiences, outdoor life, and meaningful moments, whether that’s hiking, cooking tacos together🌮, working on a project, or watching the sunset 🌅. I hope to continue meeting wonderful people and I'll be happy finding my soul mate along the way.

I really like connecting with people from all walks of life, cultures and ages. I'll be happy to share stories, exchange a bit of my mexican culture 🪇🪅, and learn along the way about yours.

I am a curious person who likes to learn a little bit about everything; I am always active and enjoy physical activities, the outdoors, nature, science, technology, movies, games, and arts.

--THE REST OF 2026--
I'm travelling now through south Mexico (Bacalar, Cancún, Mérida, Valladolid, Playa del Carmen) caribean life 🏝️. There's still to much to learn about Mexico and LATAM culture I need to live.

I really like nature and I'll be happy finding a similar minded travel partner to travel together in this beautiful places 🏞️, doesn't matter nationality, ideology or age, connection is the most important ✨. I normally travell in hostels, Airbnb, camping, and meeting or sharing places with other travelers.

Interested in volunteering with NGOs, social/nature projects, sea/boats, and maybe small/mid hostels. Open to long-term stays for the right project. Highly interested volunteering in environmental NGOs and those focused on habitat and species conservation, to apply IT data science/AI to improve or search for solutions for problemas still not solved.

--About Me & Profession--
Degree in Economics and MSc in Data Science & AI, I like hands-on outdoor experiences and social causes. I’m physically fit, highly adaptable, and love team living. Always happy to share my time with you. In my free time I enjoy photography, drawing, nature, and trying new things.

--My Volunteer & Practical Experience--
Over the years, I’ve joined diverse projects across different countries:

•Nature & Conservation: Mayan jungle preservation in Guatemala, sea turtle egg rescue in Oaxaca, and clearing trash with forest rangers in Belgium.

•Food & Kitchen: Worked in a Colombian empanada restaurant handling kitchen prep and daily operations.

•Hostel & Hospitality: Helped out at hostels in Brussels, an Albanian beach hostel, and a clothing-optional beach hostel in Zipolite Mexico, the popular nudist beach town full of culture and arts of Oaxaca. I experienced nude art modeling as well as doing photo and drawing, so I'm open to do this kind of art if you are into it.

•Farming & Ranching: Caretaking for a hacienda in Mérida and hands-on work at a social ranch NGO in northern Mexico (crops, flowers, and medicinal plants, learning traditional herbalism).

•Gardening: Redid a backyard for a household in Belgium.

•Data & AI Thesis: Worked with a marine conservation NGO on computer vision drone/AI sea turtle detection. Happy to apply tech solutions to other non-profit NGOs.

--What I’m Eager to Learn--
Exploring my spiritual and creative side (meditation, yoga, painting, drawing). Looking to learn about:

•Sustainable/natural building (adobe, eco-cabins)

•Farming, beekeeping, and self-sufficiency

•Green tech and natural medicine

•New languages and cuisines 🍽️

•Yoga, fitness, massages and salsa dancing

--My Dreams & Bucket List--
Curious and driven by shared experiences, my long-term project is building an eco-sustainable ranch for holistic living 🛖.

My bucket list includes: getting a PADI diving license, learning to surf and snowboard, cycling across Europe from Portugal, living on a boat, exploring the Amazon, visiting India, and experiencing festivals like Midsummer in Sweden, Oktoberfest, and Holi.
