Hiya!
My name is Aina, I'm 25 and I’m from a small village near Barcelona, Spain.
I would describe myself as a restless, hardworking, open-minded and friendly person who loves meeting new people, discovering different cultures, and learning from new experiences. I've always been curious about the world and what lies beyond my comfort zone.
Since I was young, travelling and exploring have been a big part of who I am. Over the years, I’ve had some amazing experiences: I spent 4 months as an exchange student in Italy when I was 15y.o., volunteered in Morocco helping take care of children and build a school, worked as an au pair in the Netherlands, and spent few summers working as a receptionist in 4* and 5* star hotels in Italy while studying at university.
For the last few years, I’ve been caught up in the corporate world, focusing on my career and following the usual path. However, I realized I was missing that feeling of adventure, spontaneity, and connection that travelling has always given me. That’s why I’m here! 😊
I see Workaway as the perfect opportunity to challenge myself again, get out of my routine, meet inspiring people, help where I can, and create meaningful memories. I’m not afraid to work hard, I’m always willing to learn, and I genuinely enjoy being around people.
