Description
We are very active retirees who are loving the opportunity to travel more, experience the world and different cultures and meet new people.
We've both had professional careers, Adele as a doctor and Tim as a town planner, but are now looking for new experiences whilst we travel. We've raised adopted children, maintained a home and large garden. We looked after 3 loveable dogs over the years. We both love animals, are reasonably good cooks and can drive.
We’re reliable, hard working, keen to learn new things and always up for a challenge!
We love our outdoor sports including running, hiking and cycling and have taken part in various Half Marathons around Europe. We’ve had a go at Ballroom/Latin Dancing (with limited success!).
We are excited about our plans to travel in South America for 4 months next year, somewhere which is new to us. We enjoy learning and taking on new goals and aim to learn more about people/environment. We hope to give something back whilst we travel instead of just being a tourist. We've been learning Spanish for a while. Progress has been slow but we hope to improve on our travels!

We work well as a team and are both hard working, diligent, up for a challenge, adaptable, open minded and understanding of different cultures.
Adele enjoys working with people and is good at listening, making decisions, encouraging others to engage and has a good understanding social issues which affect people and their families. She has volunteered in dog walking and wildlife rescue .
Tim has a keen interested in the environment/sustainability and has been a conservation volunteer in the past. He's a good problem solver and organiser and loves planning our travels!
We’ve both volunteered at the COVID vaccination clinic, and have enjoyed house sitting and pet care together.
