Hello, everyone! I'm Jules. Just one of the many walking contradictions out there. Don't be fooled by the youthful look. This lifelong wanderer has seen and experienced a lot in the last 36 years.
I am a lifelong learner, and that's why I have a habit of doing almost anything out there- within the bounds of the law, of course. My goal is to grow myself as an individual with each passing day, to see the world and experience life as much as I can.
Straddling different worlds is something that I like doing. Indoor clerical jobs are as much fun to me as activities that get me moving and outdoors. When not working and I have the funds, I like doing activities such as traveling, scuba diving, hiking, dragonboat racing, wall climbing at the gym- haven't tried outdoor climbing yet. Paradoxically, I am also quite happy indoors, having a quiet time, reading, or just chilling. I also have the penchant to cook up a storm in the kitchen.
At the moment, I am a digital nomad, having left my cushy office job that I had for a good decade. Jumping headlong into things that seem like a good place to learn new and exciting things, or at least exciting for me, is something that I always strive to do. I am down to doing mostly everything and experiencing life to the fullest with a child-like sense of wonder.

I am sort of a generalist. A lifelong learner, I like learning about a lot of things, learning from people, and immersing myself in different fields. I have picked up a lot of skills over the years, some strong, some not as strong.
Professionally, I've done mostly clerical jobs, computer work and the like, but I've also done quite a few things in service-oriented industries in my roles as divemaster and cook.
I also enjoy learning new languages. I haven't really enrolled in formal courses, just doing it through Duolingo a little bit daily, and have gotten my French to where I can express myself, albeit perhaps like a kid. I am down for language exchange. My English for your French, Italian, or Spanish.
I also don't shy away from physically laborious work. A good sweat is always welcome. I have experience in general maintenance work, did a civil technology elective back in my younger days. Skills are definitely rusty, but I'll be glad to pick them back up again.
My gardening skills aren't something I can be quite proud of. I have killed more plants than I was able to propagate, but I can help you lugging heavy things for when you're gardening ;)
My cooking skills are decent. I am no means an expert cook, but I am mostly competent and willing to get down to work in the kitchen.
Being around animals also makes me happy. I have experience in taking care of dogs and cats.
