  • Description

UPDATE: Currently at home in Belgium. Planning to continue travelling at the end of September or start of October.

    ***

I’m a positive young lady who loves to live, love and laugh. I enjoy deep conversations, (cat) cuddles, the sun on my face, the grass beneath my bare feet, self-development, getting my hands dirty, playful movement, laughter, singing and dancing (amongst many other things).

I value slow living, authentic presence, gentle kindness, meaningful contribution and freedom of choice.

After being back in Belgium for the past 6 months, I'm looking forward to immerse myself in nature again, meet people with aligned values and have fun - people are often so serious over here...

You could consider me a social introvert. I like to be in the presence of others to engage in playfulness, inspiring conversations, creative interactions, joint challenges or cuddles (= social part) and I like to spend time in my own little bubble; contemplating life, working independently, enjoying nature's silence, playing the guitar, reading a book, writing in my diary, watching a series (= introvert part). Having the opportunity to create a balance between social interactions and spending time on my own is very important to me. It helps bring out the best in me.

I am studying and practising NVC (non-violent communication), a method that I would love to fully embody myself, but also bring to others, and ideally by doing so help create a kinder world.

Alongside my coaching ambitions, I love a good dose of hands-on creativity. In volunteering projects I love to get involved in DIY, painting (!), fixing/upcycling furniture etc. Give me something to be fixed or improved and I'll tackle it with curiosity and attention to detail. I would say it is my default mode to work slow and precise rather than fast and general, so I am a great fit for anything requiring precision and at the same time I would really like to learn to work with wood on a grander scale, such as building tiny houses, a big deck or other outdoor structures like a compost toilet or shower. I'm a quick learner and very open to be taught or learn together.

I have gained experience in gardening and farming through previous Workaway projects and truly enjoy spending time out in the garden when the weather is mild. There is something very soothing about working with my hands in the soil and I quite like repetitive tasks, so even weeding can be fun.

Workaway for me is a way to explore not only different surroundings, but most of all, different ways of living, different ways of making this world a more beautiful place, different people with different ideas and talents and gifts. My wish is to find inspiration to be able to live my life with balance between my curious, explorative side and my longing for simplicity and tranquility. And who knows, maybe one day I'll actually settle down in one of those inspiring places.

I have experience living in communities and truly appreciate the sacredness of consciously sharing my life with others. I thrive when I get to live in close proximity to people with a shared vision. It is a true gift to have the opportunity to inspire and feel inspired on a daily basis. In communities or group settings I value a clear structure/organisation, open/non-violent/empathic communication, a sense of responsibility without stress or pressure and room for playfulness.

As to my personal preferences, it would help my sensitive ear/introvert side if there's a rather quiet and/or private sleeping area available (especially in larger group/community settings) and as mentioned before, my introvert side enjoys a (personal) space to retreat from the outside world on a regular basis.

Thank you for your time. I can't wait to meet you!

    Much love and gratitude ♡

Since 1 year now, I've been working as a masseuse. I offer gentle classical and lomi lomi massages, and apart from the joy of bringing soothing touch to people, I actually really enjoy creating a cosy and safe container for people to slow down, unwind and relax.

I enjoy to have an overview of things, help to structurize chaos, make lists and draw schemes.

I like to make living spaces cosy and beautiful.

As mentioned above I have experience in gardening/farming/plant care, carpentry/ DIY/painting and coaching/facilitating. I have a heart for both the earth and people ♡

  • What else ...

I am travelling without a time frame in mind, so I could potentially stay for an extended period of time.

However much I tried, I am not a morning person. I enjoy waking up slowly, giving my body the chance to move from stillness to action at its own pace. I sometimes struggle with my body's capability to do the things I love, since a lot of my interests are physical ones - massage, gardening, woodwork, certain sports - but I often experience pain, so I have to do less of it than I would like to. I hope this doesn't scare you off, because I am positive that with patience and time, the Sardinian lifestyle will help improve my physical health and in the meantime I do wish to contribute as much as I can.

All in all I am a big advocate of living up to one's greatest potential. For me that means being able to use my gifts and talents in order to create a bit more beauty in this world, to be in an environment where I can be my truest self and to have the opportunity to spread love, give hope and bring joy.

I am so excited to continue my journey looking for like-minded people to share life with, pursue dreams with and to grow together ❤
