I'm German/Scottish but grew up in Belgium and have been living in the Netherlands for the last 5 years. I love to be active outdoors, growing and enjoying food and connecting with nature, people, animals and places, as well as hiking and water sports! I am excited to explore outside of my comfort zone, to learn about medicinal plants, fungi, biodiversity and living in harmony with the land. I have an academic background in International Development and Land and Water Management, having just graduated in January 2026, which has been the beginning of my 'nomadic' year of discovering and (re)connecting. I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen, drawing and painting, photography, writing poetry, sailing, surfing and kayaking! I have a fascination for our natural world and love to observe birds, plants, and other animals. On this journey I'd Iove to exchange, connect and learn with communities. I'm looking forward to working hard, connecting deeply and sharing joy with you!

I am a creative, curious, empathetic person. Together with my dad I designed and built a family vegetable garden where we grew some seasonal food for the family. Over the years I have helped out in various market gardens with planting, weeding and harvesting. I have a keen eye for photography, talking about and observing the natural world, especially birds. During some renovations work at my parents home in Scotland I have helped with painting of walls and fences and restoring furniture. During my time at university I ran some market stalls selling local, organic produce. I love animals, having grown up with cats, rabbits and horses. I have experience house sitting taking care of cats and horses. Always eager to help and continue learning! :)
