Hey I’m Samuel!
I am travelling for 5 months through Latin America and enjoy all things outdoors, music, dance, climbing and local culture.

I work as a sustainability engineer for buildings and cities back in the uk and am passionate about learning how people around the world have found to live better and want to help to achieve a better future.

I work as a sustainability engineer which comes with a lot of technical skills and knowledge around sustainability, with also more general skills around: project management, time keeping, budget balancing, communication, team working and presentation.

I have also worked for my university and different local organisations giving tours and helping visitors with any problems they have. At university I also worked as an ambassador working with children of ages 9-18 years old, teaching a variety of content, helping deliver workshops and making sure everyone was having a good time. This included running residential, being responsible for 20 students at a time and being available when needed.

I trained as an aerospace engineer which involved high technical knowledge, alongside training in using workshop tools. Since then I’ve worked on a variety of projects using different materials focusing on wood carpentry creating larger structures and bespoke furniture.

I love to learn new skills and so have picked up a variety of interests and hobbies, including musical instruments, different forms of movement and dance, climbing and martial arts.
