Description
Hello everyone! ☀️
I'm Victoria, I'm 33 years old and I'm from France. I've been living in Lyon for the past few years.
I'm an easy-going, authentic and positive person who enjoys the simple things in life. I love nature, meaningful conversations, meeting new people and living day by day.
I absolutely love music, open airs and anything with a lively, dancing vibe, especially places where people come together to discover new dances, new rhythms and new cultures. I love dancing (afro, ragga, urban style...) , travelling, animals, cooking, road trips and discovering new cultures.
I'm very adaptable and always excited to learn new skills. My goal is to experience local life, meet inspiring people and contribute wherever I can. I would also be happy to teach you some French if you're interested!
I'm open to all kinds of food, although I mostly enjoy vegetarian meals. I love cooking and discovering new recipes from around the world.
My background is very diverse. I worked for several years supporting asylum seekers and people experiencing homelessness in social work. I also spent three years working in communication technologies and one year in a high school, organizing social and cultural activities with teenagers.
I've also worked in restaurants, on boats, at events and in hospitality, where making people feel welcome has always been very important to me.
I grew up on my grandparents' farm, surrounded by cows, rabbits, chickens and many other animals. Throughout my childhood I also had cats, dogs, ducks, geese, turtles and birds, which explains my love for animals today.
My father has been living in Vietnam for several years, and I visit him regularly. He taught me to appreciate a simple lifestyle, kindness and generosity, values that have stayed with me throughout my life.
Since then, I've been lucky enough to travel extensively. I spent time in New Zealand, where I completed several wonderful Workaway experiences, travelled across Canada from coast to coast, and more recently spent a long period in Australia.
In Australia, I worked in many different fields, including construction, landscaping, plant nurseries, farming, childcare, house sitting, pet sitting, property maintenance, cleaning and basic computer assistance. These experiences strengthened my adaptability, work ethic and confidence in both physical and practical jobs.
I also have experience preparing vegan breakfasts in a hostel, volunteering as a firefighter for one year, and helping people from many different backgrounds.
I genuinely enjoy helping others, sharing knowledge and creating meaningful connections. I'm hardworking, reliable, curious and always ready to lend a hand, whether it's manual work, hospitality, childcare, gardening, animal care or simply bringing positive energy to your home.
I'm looking forward to meeting you, sharing experiences and helping with your project.
Hope to see you soon! 😊 -

We finally stayed two months, we saw Alain in visio during 1 month and we were in a hurry to meet him. Simply unforgettable, so many things to do, a real freedom in our work.
Alain is such a welcoming person, we fished together, play poker and share moments around a fire.
Concerning the work, we … read more

Within the first 48 hours with them I knew I could be able to take a break from my business.
Having them around and trusting them is easy.
I explain one time, i write a list of chores and i let them do their things.
For me this couple was a blessing!
