 - Description- Hi! I’m Tyra, a literature and journalism student who's passionate about everything about art/culture, nature and people.
I would describe myself as both calm but also very outgoing! I’m currently working part-time as a substitute teacher and live in a lovely co-living with people from different countries, so I’m used to being around a lot of people. I love meeting new people, exploring and trying new things – that’s why I’m here! I’m hoping to meet new people, see and try new things and maybe practice my language skills!
As a student of literature and journalism I’m used to working in a high tempo, mainly with things including art, writing and language. Besides I have a lot of experience from working with people and service. Apart from my current part-time work as a substitute teacher I’ve previously volunteered as a summer-camp leader for the Red Cross, worked in a language café, as a free-lance journalist and photographer plus as a dance teacher.
I grew up on the Swedish countryside, very close to nature. I absolutely love nature, running, hiking, climbing or just being out of doors in general.
Through doing workaways I hope (mainly) to get to know new people, explore new places and hopefully learn something along the way (whether it’s a new work experience, something about language and culture or just something about myself).

 - More details about your skills- I love working with people! I’m currently working as a substitute teacher, so I’m used to working with children. Besides I’ve been a summer camp leader at the Red Cross for two summers, plus done various of volunteering projects for the Red Cross such as teaching dance to children and organizing projects for families.
I’ve also worked in a language café and at my local tourist information centre, so I’m used to working in service and to meeting a lot of people and talking to them in different languages (I speak Swedish, French, German and English).
I’ve also free-lanced as a journalist and photographer for some time, so I’m good at working with creative projects in various forms. Anything from web design to working with language and writing!
I’m currently a student (literature and journalism) but hoping to get to try and learn new things through here!
