***Looking for a house sitting opportunity in the South Island of New Zealand during February***
I am Miriam, just started my second Australian Work&Travel year after working the first year in Tasmania and Adelaide hills.
Currently traveling up the eastcoast with my friend Theresa who is on a tourism visa, she is also from Germany. We have a car, so we are flexible with the location. From February onwards we will travel through New Zealand.
Miriam has volunteered with workaway in several places in different countrys, travelled a lot and has a green thumb (if your garden needs help!). Theresa just finished her social work bachelor and is on her first long trip abroad, has an exstensive scouts background and a huge heart for animals, especially horses.
We are both tidy and clean, reliable, a bit older (both 27 years young) and hands on girls, so renovations, household, stable and yards work, gardening and pet sitting are all things we have done before and are interested in.

Im a state certified Assistent of Office Management and office communication. Thats the offical description of my apprenticeship, so if you need help with Word, exel or others things with your Computer, im sure i can help you.
At Home we have a large garden and its every time a pleasure to me to work with the plants outside.
And of course i love to work with animals!

I have worked and voluntered around the world on farms with Sheep in Germany, Cattle in Australia, Horses in New Zealand and Huskys in Canada. I have a deep love for anything growing, so my green thumb comes in handy with gardening work or house plants.
I would like to live out more of my creative site in writing and painting, but if I see a messy place I love to clean it up. And then it is just the cultural exchange, so much things i learned traveling over the years. It amazes me every time.

I cleaned the stable in the morning , painted nearly the whole house from inside and outside and helped with the horses in the evening, absolutely no problem to take… read more
