This is Tonic and Natalie from Hong Kong.

Tonic: I have worked for law enforcement agencies for more than 10 years since I was graduated from uni, I was trained to handle the redundant paperwork very well, I thought I will work for the government for lifelong and retire with a few boring badges on my chest.

Natalie: I was a social worker worked for a NGO focusing on serving children with special educational needs and their care takers.

During the COVID-19, due to WFH arrangement, we had spent plenty of time to think about the meaning of life, we realized that life should be more exciting, we only live once and we don’t want to die with nil story to tell. Therefore, when we turned into 33 & 31, we have made a huge decision for ourselves, we resigned from our stable job and gonna spend 1 year to travel along the world. We want to experience different journeys, to create some memorable stories to tell our future grandsons/daughters, and get to know more people from worldwide!

We are animal lovers. Our hobbies include trail running, marathon, hiking, kayaking, football, and outdoor activities. Our MBTI are ESFP & INTP and we hope we could make some contributions to the society all around the world!

I worked for LEA for several years and I’m good at handling emergencies;
Majored in engineering in uni (merely 3-month genuine working experience in this field but still hv basic knowledge about physics & electric);
Vehicle driving (also trucks);
Speedboat sailing (with licence but seems not applicable in other countries);
Swimming life saving (licence expired tho);
First-aid and usage of AED; &
Scuba-diving.

Natalie:
​I majored in Social Work and spent a few years working with SEN kids, which definitely taught me to be patient and highly adaptable! With my background in psychology, I’m an empathetic listener who loves chatting about social issues and connecting with people. Overall, I’m just a friendly, easygoing team player who is great at communication and always ready to go with the flow.
