Description

Hey there!
I'm Tina, a social worker from Austria, currently travelling again. I'm used to travel solo and for longer periods of time. This time i also planned to take approx. 9 to 12 months off and try something new. This is going to be my first attempt on workaway and I'm so excited to join a project.
My aim is to learn new things and contribute in community. I love to learn new languages since i feel like I can understand a culture better. Currently I focus on Spanish, Arabic and very basic French. My first language is German and English works also very good for me.
I plan to join a masters program in human rights next year. I'm open to all kinds of community work, nature preservation and conservation work and everything related to human rights like peoples rights and children rights. For the last 3 years I worked for the child and youth welfare office in vienna. Now I feel like i want to open my experiences more and contribute internationally. I'm very curious about where this journey takes me but I'm already convinced that it's going to be amazing!

I have a hands-on mentality, I'm open-minded, an experienced solo traveller, i love to cook, I'm an organized person, I love to learn new languages. German, English and Spanish are quite solid, I learn Arabic which challenges me a lot and I try to start French now.
I consider myself a creative person, I worked with refugee children and generally i would say that my education and my job experience helped me to get along with people easily. I love it when people are ambitious and have ideas and i can contribute and be part of it.

I have the dream to open my own hostel one day.

I like to cook and to bake, quick and delicious is my favorite style ;)

I started drawing and painting and I hope to do this more.

I do Yoga and I like to workout.

I'm interested in learning to surf. I tried it a couple of times but it needs proper instructions and more practice.
