Description
Hi there! We are Lucie and Théo—an enthusiastic and curious couple with a passion for meeting new people, hands-on work, and the great outdoors.
What we love most is connecting with people from all walks of life, learning from their stories, and sharing genuine moments—usually over a great meal, as cooking is a true passion for us! For us, preparing food is all about spreading joy and building bonds.
As nature lovers, we live by the rhythm of the land and sea: hunting, fishing, gardening, spearfishing, hiking… we both deeply need that outdoor connection. We’re also quite active and both play rugby, a sport that has taught us teamwork, respect, and perseverance.
Hardworking, resourceful, and always in a good mood, we fully commit to everything we do. Whether it’s manual labor, maintenance, cooking, or daily tasks, we are motivated, versatile, and independent.
In short: we love to learn, give back, and create strong human connections. We can’t wait to build something great with you!

We are arriving in Australia on March 3rd, and we’ll start working on a grain farm on March 30th. This is a great opportunity for us to improve our English; to be honest, we weren't very comfortable with the language back in school. Today, we can speak English, but we’re really eager to progress and be able to connect more easily with people from all over the world. We are also very curious about languages in general, and we're particularly drawn to Spanish and Italian. We’d love to learn them one day, or at least pick up the basics to be able to chat with even more people. For us, every encounter is a chance to learn—whether it’s a language, a culture, or a new skill.

More details about your skills
Hi there!
We are Lucie and Théo—a motivated and curious couple with a passion for hands-on work, nature, and meaningful human connections. We love learning, sharing, and fully committing to every experience. Most importantly… we love making people laugh and bringing a joyful vibe wherever we go!
Lucie was part of the organizing team for major events like the Olympic Games, which gave her a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and adaptability. She has also worked in hospitality as a waitress and gained hands-on experience in the building industry by assisting her father, an electrician. She is great with children and animals, caring for them with both gentleness and energy. Caring and empathetic, Lucie loves making people feel at home, sharing a laugh, and creating a warm atmosphere. She also enjoys cooking and being an active part of daily household life.
Théo has a solid background in public works, both on the ground and in project management. He is incredibly versatile, with experience in construction (electricity, masonry), operating machinery, gardening, and farming—having driven tractors on farms from a young age. He also had a unique experience as a stockman/cowboy in the Australian Outback and worked as a welder for a feedlot builder. A true nature lover, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and cooking, and has a deep love for animals. Proactive, independent, and hardworking, he always brings good humor to the job—making people laugh is almost a sport for him!
Together, we are a complementary and hardworking team. Working, laughing, learning, and sharing: that’s how we approach every new adventure. We can't wait to meet you!

What else ...
We left everything behind in France to head to the other side of the world. We spent a full year in New Zealand (2025) on a Working Holiday Visa, fulfilling one of our biggest dreams: living in a country defined by its stunning nature, deep traditions, and Māori culture.
Now, we are arriving in Australia, fueled by that same passion for travel and discovery.
For us, these journeys are much more than just an adventure. They are a way to open our minds to the world, discover different lifestyles, and learn every day from people of all walks of life. We are curious, open-minded, and always ready to listen, chat, and share.
And the adventure is only just beginning!

Feedback
This was very annoying as I had turned down several others and ended up with no one, no help when needed and waisted opportunities for other travellers.
Very disappointed.
