  • Description

Hello, my name is Tatjana, and I live in Austria. My English is not perfect, but I write as it is.

On the day I turned 40 I became sick, had to stay in bed and realised: I still have some dreams to live. So I decided to take one year off and to throw myself in the adventure called life.

I grew up in a small village and wanted to see the big, wild, world since I can think. So I moved to the next city - Graz to visit a school for art and design.
I started to work in the hospitality industry to finance my studies, and liked it so much, that I studied Tourism and worked as a professional in that field before I studied again and became a teacher. I mainly teached cooking classes (yes, we do that in schools in Austria ; ) and German.

After one long journey (cycling from Austria to Cambodia), travelling to India, Morocco and after living in Graz and Vienna I came back to my home village along with the circumstances of Corona. The last years I worked as a teacher. I fell in love with a triathlet and along with that with triathlon. Years after triathlon and me are still happy together ; ), and I am grateful I crossed the finishline of some longdistance and two extreme Triathlons.

Due to some coincidences (like wining a slot ; ) I decided to dedicate this year to my passion. I want to do some races that "have a soul". To stay at the destinations of the races for some weeks, get to know the community and train together. Triathlon means so much more to me, than just training, PRs and podiums. And for this journey I want it to be the "door opener" to really get to know a region, its landscapes and its people, their spirit and their mentality.

No matter if you're interested in sports at all - I would be happy to be the helping hand you're looking for. Maybe in the garden, house- or pet sitting (I am really good with cats), helping you with household tasks, teach yoga (I did one teachter training in India, one in Vienna), helping out in any field of tourism... I am fond of arts, and I would find it great to assist you with your creative projects. Of course I would love to prepare swim/bike/run sessions for a community of interested people.

I am a down to earth person, easy going and honest. I am quite practical (maybe because I grew up on a small farm) and I am good in improvising.
I like to be independent (that's why I travel with my own car) and I enjoy (and need) to be on my own sometimes. I am happy to cook for myself in general and enjoy to share a meal and stories sometimes.

I don't know, when it was the last time I wrote so much about myself... ; ) but if you have any questions - I am happy to answer them. Thanks for considering my profile.

I like physical work in the nature and work where I see a progress.
I am really good in any field of tourism / hospitallity that deals directly with the clients.
I did two yoga teacher trainings, one in Vienna and one in Mysore (India), both of them focused on Ashtanga Yoga.

  • What else ...

I appreciate, if working times and tasks are clear.
I like to be independent and for my wellbeing I need a room on my own and some private space.
I appreciate the option to cook for myself from time to time.
I stoped to train for races, but I want to stay in a surrounding where I can hike, run and do roadcycling in my freetime. As long as in Europe, I will arrive with my car.
