Description
Hey, I’m Tanja, 25 years old and from southern Germany. This year I finished my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, and I’ve decided to spend the coming year traveling and collecting new experiences.
I love traveling when there’s also a purpose behind it, which is why I really like the idea of Workaway. Meeting new people, helping out, and getting to know different cultures at the same time.
Before my studies, I trained as a carpenter, so I really enjoy hands-on and creative work.
I also love being outdoors. Camping and hiking are some of my favorite activities. I’m open-minded, easy-going, and always happy to learn new things and get involved wherever I can.

As a trained carpenter, I have extensive experience in wood construction as well as a solid understanding of various practical skills. I enjoy working with my hands, tackling projects, and finding creative solutions to challenges.
In addition to my craft experience, I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter in Corfu a few years ago. Together with other volunteers, I helped take care of around 100 dogs. Feeding them, going for walks, and supporting their general care. This time showed me how valuable teamwork and commitment are.
I’m excited to meet new people, get involved in different projects, and learn new things. I’m reliable, motivated, and not afraid of hard work.
