Description
In an effort to live more self sufficiently I would like to learn more about horticulture and livestock care especially in a small holding/homestead context. I love growing my own food and making household goods as well as crafting and repairing my belongings rather than always buying them new.

For ten years I have been a freelance stage manager in theatre, festivals and events. My tasks are varied and include technical and AV skills, prop making, construction, welding, people management, scheduling, budgeting and logistics. I am also a first aider and was a vaccinator with St John Ambulance. I have a BA in Stage Management and an MASC (masters of arts and sciences) in Creative Health which is predominantly the study of how creativity (including horticulture, arts and heritage) impact health and wellbeing. My hobbies include blacksmithing, sewing, knitting, swimming, cycling, writing and reading.
