Hello there !


My name is Lucie! I'm Canadian and French !
As you can guess, I love traveling! I've been to many countries during my life and I want to keep discovering more of them. I especially like learning about new cultures and languages. I work in Quebec from spring to fall every year, which means I'm available to go wherever I want in winter !
I'm very active, hardworking, enthusiast, easygoing and flexible. I'm able to learn and to adapt to new situations quickly.

Here are some details about my skills :

- I've been very active doing WWOOFing in the past years so Workaway is nothing new to me ! it started as some kind of "life experience" and ended out as a lifestyle !

- I currently work in a wildlife rescue center which is also on Workaway ! So I know what it's like being a host too ;)
I've got a bachelor's degree of Biology and I have a lot of experience working with animals. I used to work in a birds of prey free flight show and in horse farms.

- I'm pretty athletic and I'm used to working outside, in any weather conditions. I love working out and practicing sports (martial arts, going to the gym, horse riding, climbing, etc)

- I love drawing (pencil, water color and Indian ink). My main subjects are mostly animals and nature. I'm also good with computers.

- I'm a very good cook too and I love baking cakes for those who like eating sweets :)

- I can fuel a 747 or pretty much any other aircrafts ;) Let's say I've worked in very different fields throughout my life....

Please keep in mind that before going anywhere, I like to have a Skype or Zoom call with my future hosts to get to know each other a bit better !
