Hi! We are Josh and Milana. An American couple who love adventure, experiencing different cultures, and connecting with people over a good meal. Our hope in doing workaway is to meet lifelong friends, learn new skills (we both have servants hearts and LOVE to help anywhere we are needed!), and learn the art of slowing down in this busy world through meaningful conversations and experiences with everyone we meet.

We have always loved getting to expereince new cultures and believe that the most authentic way to do it, for us, is by getting off the beaten path, gathering around a table with a homemade meal made with local ingredients, and simply getting to talk, work, and laugh with the people around us.

Josh has his masters in Electrical Engineering but enjoys working with his hands. He can handle most handyman tasks around the house (painting, replacing fixtures, etc) - including some larger projects like re-shingling and deck building. (Also a tech genius according to Milana)

Milana is a nurse by trade, but loves being outside and getting to be creative whenever she can. She grew up doing garden and landscape maintenance, enjoys cooking, any type of cleaning/house organization, and has a "down for anything" personality.

We are both hard workers and quick learners who are happy to learn new skills and help out with a good attitude!

A little more about us...
We enjoy getting outside and often go on hikes, cycling, and even going for a picnic and reading in a park. Anything to get a dose of sunshine in!

Games are a must with good friends and family, especially card games, but our go to board games are Codenames, Azul, and Catan.

We love a slow morning, josh with a cup of coffee and Milana with a tea, both with a good book and usually followed by a long walk.

Getting to be creative in the kitchen cooking or baking delicious and nutritious food is something we love to do together.
